My Inspirations For My Final Piece

The main people who have inspired me throughout this term of research were Michael Hussar, Santiago Caruso Chet Zar and the monsters from the horror film 'Silent Hill'.

the way they paint, and in the films case, come up with these monsters is beyond amazing. They have thought me (along with many other very tallented artists) and broadened my imagination to the extent that i am always thinking and illustrating every crazy thought that comes to my mind.

they have a great impact on how i view different types of artifact and help me acknowledge different techniques.

How i found these magnificently talented artists i am unaware of but it was defiantly through hours of research. It was all worth it as they, and other newly discovered artists are helping me find my own style in art which i still have not yet concurred.

All artists have a very broad macabre twist to it, These artists are no ordinary people but artists which can change peoples perspectives on how they look at things.

Concluding

For my Final piece I want to crate a master piece that would include the techniques and illustrations of the artists work which i have researched. I would like to come up with my own characters which have nothing to do with each other and put them all on one canvass. It will be very time consuming but in the end it will hopefully turn out as i hoped for. Each artist inspires me in their own way, and the three artists which i have chosen to blog about are the ones that caught my eye.
they also follow the theme of beneath the surface and they all tackle their art in different manners which make them unique.

I have three final pieces in mind, three of which i am still debating wether to do. These are the very rough and quick sketches i have come up with:-

The first two pictures are for the same piece the rest are different. I am going to experiment with different mediums, and hopefully it will turn out as planned.

Chet Zar

Chet Zar is an artist which i newly discovered, he is remarkably talented and has many expertise.

He was born on November 12th 1967; he is a makeup artist, designer and sculptor for the motion picture industry. He was the makeup artist for 'Hell Boy I&II', 'The Ring' and 'Planet of the apes'.
Ever since he was a child he was always into horror movies and dark imagery. Zar is a surrealist artist who likes to test his imagination. In his paintings he can relate and express fear, anxiety and isolation.
Later on in his years he "decided to go back to his roots and focus on his own original works and try his hand in fine arts".
The artists that inspire him are the following : James Zar (step father), Bekinski, H.R Giger and Frank Franzetta.

this artist shows forms of conflict due to blood painted on one of the paintings. My opinion is that i love this type of art, it shows how it shows a story, how people think. Everyone has dark thoughts, and some people know exactly how to portray them in a form of art which people can relate to and admire.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

This film was a very interesting film, it needs your 100% attention to watch it.
its about a guy called Joel Barish (played by Jim Carry) who is a loner, so to speak, very awkward and keeps to himself a lot. he falls in love with a rather crazy and out going girl called Clementine Kruczynski (played by Kate Winslet). After a very long love affair between them they get into an argument and break up. they feel so depressed about the break up that they go to this witch doctor who managed to create a technology which erases an ex lover or present lover who you would like to forget about.
The story begins with the ending of the film and plays back through how everything happened. After the break up clementine acts like Joel doesn't exist and is seen with another man, it makes us think that she is being selfish and doesn't want anything to do with him any more. Joel then goes to this witch doctor who puts him onto a machine and they start playing back all the memories of Clementine and Joel together, first the bad ones so it makes us realise why he is doing this. She is portrayed as a selfish person who is always arguing with Joel and doesn't really love him. Then all the good memories start to come back and Joel realises that he doesn't want to forget Clementine any more, so he tries to go into memories which clementine was never in to begin with. Unfortunately the which doctor manages to pin point which part of the brain Joel is hiding Clementine, on this machine, and when he wakes up he forgets that she ever existed
They somehow find their way back together and find out that they both had each other removed from their memory. they fall in love all over again.
This film is a very good example of destiny in the fact that even though Joel and Clementine lost their memory of them two ever being together they some hoe found a way back to each other and fell in love all over. they were destined to be together.
I really enjoyed this film and thought it was particularly sweet because it gives hope to every type of person, weird, depressed, etc, to find love. I was like nothing could keep them apart even though they don't recall anything of each other.

this is a good memory of Clementine, and he is trying to not forget her so he takes her to his past.

After they both found out that they erased each other from their minds and still get back together.

In this film conflict is shown, but not really in a physical way but in more of a psychological way. The facet that they went to erase their memories of each other because they were so depressed that they weren't together any more. this is the type of conflict that is shown throughout this movie, along with the fighting between Joel and Clementine.
